HOW TO TAKE PART

1. Simply choose the lowest price that you think that no one else will offer and enter it as your bid.

2. Once the preset maximum number of bids have all been placed, the auction will then automatically be drawn, and if yours is the lowest unmatched (i.e. unique) bid, then you can purchase the item for the low price you have offered.

3. As soon as one auction is closed another will be opened. So if you don't win first time round, there will be lots more chances to choose that winning bid.

What do I do next?

To enter, just click on the item and complete the form, paying the published entry fee and wait for the good news. We will email results to all participants whether or not they win. You may bid as many times as you like, up to the maximum number indicated on each Lot. The Bidding Form takes up to five bids per credit card transaction.

More about this Lot...

  • You only realise just how small and light the new iPod mini is when you hold one in your hand. And an excellent way to get your hands actually on one is to click on Bid Here!

  • This, the newest, dinkiest, 'mini' model, holds up to 1,000 songs at near CD quality on a 4GB hard drive. And, at just 100g (3.6oz), Apple tell us that this is smaller than most mobile phones!

  • For those of you still uninitiated in the art of iPod, well, just imagine an entire CD-quality jukebox fitting snugly into your back pocket. There are enough people still marvelling at how cute its bigger brothers are... so for maximum impact, this is clearly a case of 'less is more'.

  • Amazingly, you can also use this tiny iPod to transfer data files between your home PC and work, at the same time as hold music. For example, you could carry a massive 1Gbs of personal files and still have 3Gb (around 750 tunes) to help you drive, train, jog or even shimmy to the office.

  • The iPod has unbelievably fast data transfer rates and communicates incredibly fast with both Mac and Windows. In fact we had our iPod copy a 300MB of e-mail file in less than 30 seconds! using USB 2.0 and an old PC.

  • It includes both a Firewire and USB 2.0 cable (a Firewire lets you transfer an album of MP3s from your computer in 10 seconds, and we gather USB 2.0 is even faster!). And iPod supports the most popular audio formats – including AAC, MP3, VBR, WAV and AIFF (Mac only).
  • Inside its new anodized aluminium body the iPod mini is loaded with hassle-free functionality:

    • A wheel to scroll through menu selections and to control volume
    • A menu list that can be customised to create your own playlists
    • Smart shuffle song management
    • An LCD screen which can show menu modes, give track names, times and album information in playback mode. It even has four games including Solitaire and a music quiz!

  • As you may know, this 'mini' version of the iPod has sold so fast in the US that Apple had severe trouble keeping up, and ended up delaying their UK launch. As a result, iPod retailers here in the UK now have long waiting lists. Happily we are at the front of the queue, so here is your chance to jump the queue.

  • So if you feel the need for the one of the hottest, lightest, sexiest MP3 players on the market today... get bidding sharpish!…

Boring but important:
• Also included is a pair of earbud headphones, belt clip and AC adapter.
• Delivery to the winner will be within 28 days.
• Up to 8 hours of continuous playback with rechargeable lithium-ion battery
• Skip protection of up to 25 minutes
• Mac OS X v10.1.5 or later OR
• Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 OR Windows XP Home or Professional
• Connectivity: Firewire or USB 2.0 ports
• Colours: These will go on a first come first served basis.
Choice of colours currently left: Green, Pink, Silver, Blue.

Bid now and good luck!
