• No item is too complex for Andrew Varah. His skills include fine marquetry, specialist veneering, carving in solid wood, gilding and the use of glass and metal.  And the desk featured here is a fine example of the beautiful workmanship you can look forward to.
   
• Sitting on finely tapered legs, the desk top features a complex inlay border and 3 'books'.  Look closely - those books are beautifully crafted from wood and are, in fact, drawers.  And if you are the lucky successful bidder, your choice of titles and authors will be on the spines of those 'book' drawers... perhaps your own initials... or someone else's?
