- Lying within the Quirimbas archipelago off the remote Mozambique northern coast, crescent-shaped Vamizi Island is a slender coral-fringed paradise of largely untouched beauty.The island is a sanctuary, small and initmate, offering the difinitive luxury of your own private island.
- The island remained largely unexplored until Christopher Cox and Dr Julie Garnier, visited on holiday and were astounded by what they saw. Vamizi is home to a staggering variety of flora and fauna including 112 species of birds along with one of the most diverse coral reefs in the world. Just twelve kilometers long and one kilometer wide and fringed with gently-shelving beaches and calm waters, this is a haven for both adults and children alike.
- The island’s rich natural resources are now carefully monitored, and the island's native fishermen are trained to monitor green and hawksbill turtles, dugongs and humpback whales, and encouraged to fish sustainably.
- The island houses just 12 luxury beach villas, each with its own private sun deck, and each built in keeping with the ethos of the project. These villas ensure that the Maluane Project can continue to support marine research, community outreach and direct conservation initiatives in the area.

- Double Accommodation in ocean-facing beach villa for two people sharing.

- Guided activities – shore-based snorkeling, shore-based fishing, sea-kayaking, birding, walking trails, beach picnics, sailing on the dhow, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- International flights
- Champagnes, cocktails, premium wines and aperitifs.
- Items of a personal nature including gifts and staff gratuities.
- Use of boat for snorkeling, deep sea (blue water) & fly fishing.
- Scuba diving and scuba courses.
- Government airport departure taxes and customs tax.

- If a reservation is confirmed and later cancelled, cancellation charges will be applied.
- Surcharges may be applicable if the the package is taken during peak periods or outside the validity period offered here.
- We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to embarking on any travel arrangements.
- Children are welcome to Vamizi Island and can be accommodated, as can additional guests. Any additional persons will incur an extra cost. This can be advised at the time of making your reservation.
