We are delighted to be featuring the exquisite work of photographer Alan Jacobs - a great British landscape and nature photographer.

Jacobs resides near Dartmoor from where much of his inspiration comes. While taking a break from a successful career in interior design, Alan Jacobs picked up his camera. With his designer's eye for colour, detail and composition, it wasn't long before he was able to take a very decisive but natural step into the full-time world of professional photography.

From Jacobs' works we are featuring selected pieces from his Natural Abstracts collection. The winning bidder for this Lot will have the opportunity to choose from the three works featured here: Electraglide, Green Stream and Pheasant.

Peasant print

Alan Jacobs specialises in mounting his work on 3mm aluminium sheets - what you get, therefore, is edge to edge image and no frame to detract from the movement and colour of the picture. When hung, what's more, the image 'floats' on the wall. Your print will be an impressive A1 size... (that's 841mm x 594mm or 33.11 inches x 23.39 inches) - so this stunning work has real impact.
